A scene shot last summer out at the lake given the fotosketcher treatment. I tried a crop of this to the right of the stairs, but it just didn't work for me. Maybe it will for you. So I left it widescreen for your viewing pleasure, or mine as the case may be. Could probably stand to have a bit more lighting along the shoreline and in the reflection.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell....

I remember what you said about using FotoSketcher. You picked a very pastoral photo to start with. Personally I think you're getting better with FotoSketcher because this is a gorgeous posting. I don't see your signature bench, but I guess the lawn chairs will do.

This scene makes me want to be in one of those chairs or getting ready to hop in a kayak or canoe to enjoy the lake. This is a timeless scene. Remarkably beautiful shot.

Looks like a sponge painting Wendell. You must have soaked up some good pointers on FotoSketcher.
I agree with Skitzo that is is a great scene.

Wendell - I'm glad you left the stairs there, otherwise, it would be hard for us to get to the gazebo. You were successful in creating a painting from the photo image. Thad

This looks like a great place to pull up a chair and have a glass or two.Lovely looking scene and very nice art work effect too.I would say you got the lighting just right as there is shadow from the tree, well done.

This is a very nice shot, Wendell. I think Roger is mellowing with age. There is a slight left downward tilt, though...and regardless of the Sketcher effects, a touch of sharpen seems ok.
