Good eye to spot this on a headstone Wendell. The grain looks good in this intricate scene.
Wonderful post.

Hi, Wendell...

I'm no expert at grave stones, but I guess I assumed that most of them were made of granite or some other sort of mineral that they polished to a fine sheen. This material looks perfect for my shots. You could have all the noise in the world and never notice it.

Apparently the people around here never die or are cannibalized because there's only one local cemetery, and the potential shots are pretty sparse. I assume that you at the cemetery getting some shots for the "Halloween" contest that they're not having.

Very good job using light and dark contrast to bring this shot to life. Excellent detail or very noisy...I'll let you decide.

Roger

P.S. One of your better recent narratives. A real LOL moment.

Nice capture of texture and light and very nice colours too.Plus there is come lovely work gone into creating that beautiful looking flower design.Only down fall there is to much space on the left. But apart from that it very nice my friend.

It's beautiful....so many times I think we just sail right past beauty that is quiet and understated and about knee-high. Well done!

That is quite a sculpture, I know you aren't really suppost to center things, but I think it might have better a little more to the center. I like the texture and color to the image.
