A doorknob abandoned and left outside to face the cruel elements of a bitter winter. And then some tool comes along and lays on the final indignity of taking its portrait.

I See You, lol. Poor doorknob. This is a really great find and love all the textures and reflections in this, plus the way the ice looks clear like glass Wendell.

I can see you or someone, you make a nice reflection and it adds interest to your photo. Looks like a pretty new knob to have all that ice on it, folks must not come home to often. Clever idea for a shot though.

Hey, Wendell, who's the dork in the reflection on the door knob? This is definitely a knob that needs no polishing.
The shot is wonderfully focused, the lighting is right on the money, love the clarity and the detail of that ice. Looks like a brutal winter. Did I tell you it's supposed to be 80°F (26.6°C) tomorrow?
Personally I would have cropped this and that, made it black and white, oversaturated it with color, added some definition by oversharpening the shot before running it through three noise reduction programs.
I just realized you're in the shot twice. Poor door knob.
