... as in quite frankly I couldn't come up with a name for this scene. Another scene shot just yesterday at the park in the middle of town. As you can see most of the winter snow and ice has been stolen. I suspect the penguins, but you never see them around to catch them in the act. But they are the shiftiest of the flightless birds, don't let the smartness of their suits fool you.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

The water looks washed out Wendell, but what can one expect from water. :)
This makes me want to see around the bend. Perhaps that is where the Black Tie Affair is going on.

Personally I'm not a fan of emus, the little troublemakers. Nifty park you have in town, Wendell. Atascadero has virtually nothing in the way of city parks. I occasionally frequent Atascadero Lake Park when I want to walk the dogs. Other than that, we're lucky that there are a couple of nice state parks nearby.

As for your posting, the runoff almost looks like the brown color we get here; so there must be plenty of erosion upstream. I think you added a little too much color safe Tide to the rapids. The whites are bleached out. I get the same effect when shooting ocean waves. Hard to keep any texture in the whites in the direct sunlight. That path on the right is intriguing and looks like a challenge. Nice balance to the shot.

I also enjoyed this shot. The path and fence are very intriguing. The water is definitely interesting. To be frank, I think this shot turned out well.

This does look like an interesting walk or should I say hike - I've seen such little snow this year I wondered what that white stuff to the right was. LOL
