This appears to be a couple of juncos enjoying a sunny afternoon hanging out together belting out the tunes. But as they say appearances can be deceiving.

Are you sure they are not Junkies? I see some track marks on their feet.
It's really a good, well focused shot Wendell. The background looks good as well.

Other than a slight blue tint to the branch behind the birds, the shot is practically perfect. I envy your telephoto lens or your friendly birds, Wendell. Great colors, excellent details and wonderful DoF. Faved. If you were closer I might have gone with an AC nomination.
