LOL Wendell, ive never seen anyone take a photo of mud before and thats the truth! However, you have chosen your subject well as this is obviously not just mud, but lovely deep squishy mud! Looks almost like chocolate cake mix before it makes it to the oven! Excellent smooth texture and deep colour! Suddenly the phrase 'everything turns to mud' doesnt seem to bad :D

Great detail and rich colours, plus textures. I said that to my daughter when she was very little, then she started crying, she thought she had mud in her eye.

Great idea, Wendell, with the sepia tone. I had about three things I was going to say, but two of them would have got me banned from the site and I would have had to reemerge as "easyout", "quickshot" or one of the other names I've used through the years.
If I'm not mistaken, there's a dead leaf or two in there as well.
