The six-spotted green tiger beetle as it is known to its friends. Now I don't know if the name means that it takes 6 people to spotted these crafty buggers or that you don't really recognize it until you've spotted it 6 times. I put it down to the mysteries of naming things. They might as well have called it a Phil, that bright green thingy that is crawling up your leg boy I hope it ain't hungry, bug. It certainly does not roll off the tongue, but it makes as much sense as six-spotted green tiger beetle.
In any event I met Phil up at the park and failed to recognize him right away. I blame the fish, but that's another story. And then he refused to stand still and insisted on playing a game of tag with some ants. I never did learn all their names.
Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Do you remember when we were kids together growing up on the streets of Hong Kong? You used to post the subject dead center in the middle of the shot. Now it's offset perfectly. Excellent composition. I hate to say it to you, but the focus is sharp as mud and clear as a tack. I should have said clear as a tack and sharp as mud. I have to stop writing these comments while looking at a mirror.
One of your best narratives and clearly (and sharply) an excellent shot. Love the colors and the clarity. Faves for me.
