This pond has all the comforts of home and none of the pitfalls such as seagull gulping sharks. Or at least I don't think there are any sharks seagull gulping or any other sort inhabiting the pond. Otherwise I might have to reconsider those late night dips. Maybe move them to midday. And as a bonus people hand out free food here on a daily basis. Oh sure they're mainly interested in feeding those free-loading ducks but you're a lot quicker on the wing. But does it always have to be stale bread crumbs? There are only so many ways you can prepare stale bread crumbs before you get tired of them.

Enjoy and your comments or stale bread crumb recipes welcomed.

Don't forget about the dreaded snapping turtle, Wendell. They like morsels like this. You might say they enjoy the underwater web. :)
Those are some bright colors I think he needs some sun glasses.
A good shot.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Nice water color here Wendell and the duck seems none too friendly but maybe he's just sick of those breadcrumbs!

Lovely rich colours and nice sharp detail in the gulls plumage, plus the bright blue of the water adds a very nice effect.I also like the light running down through the water as well.9/10 why not ten out of ten, that because the blue water is reflecting of the birds back side lol.

Considering this gals posturing, she's not particularly impressed with the human species.
Nicely positioned in the rippled, reflective water, Wendell.

The reflection of the sky in the water is very lovely. Why does the bird seem a little grumpy, do you suppose?
