Actually I'll admit a little too close and the focus is too narrow. And a little self-centered now that I look at it. I'd complain about the rest of it but I have to leave something open to the public. Some fungal growth found growing on the forest floor.

For colours and a interesting looking fungi it great and it as lovely textures in the flesh of this fruiting body.Plus the light in this photo is superb and only when you enlarge does it lose some focus,so will done more plus the negs lol.

At first I thought it was brain coral on a reef ... then I saw the green vegetation. Wonderful capture, Wendell. Love the textures.
