Shot recently in the waning light of day. I didn't quite get the angle right. I blame the gentle waft of a breeze that caused the web to move out of alignment and not the fact that I was too lazy to move the tripod over a couple of inches.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

Wendell, I like the angle of this one, and the color, and sun glints. I think it is a cool post, creepy yes, but cool.

ewwww, I can't look, I can't look! But after I did peek at it what I like best is the sun glinting off the spider herself, surrounded by prisms of color in her web...

I love the light refraction you got in this shot, so to me the angle was just right.

Your excuse about not being lazy doesn't have a leg to stand on, Wendell.
I like the lighting very much on this beauty.

Even if the web moved slightly you caught the lighting perfectly. Wonderful capture, Wendell.

Great Shot Wendell! I like your angle here and the light is perfect for the mood of it. I have a big spider here for the last two morning that I have to fight off to get past and go to work. Did not think to take his picture like you did. Awww! Saved it to brood about it some more.

This is a unique angle offering a uniquely mild image of this otherwise bloodthirsty spider...[gggrrr I am terrified of them...]. Even SAAB agrees that it is quite palatable picture of a spider !
