The geese make their escape across the water after an unnamed interloper approached too close for comfort. Apparently young Hubert got an F in flocking school as he slowly started drifting away from the rest of the family.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

A good job of focusing on all of them, this is the view I always end up with too. Lol! I do remember that song, goes back just a few years. :) =^..^=tigs

Shoo! Hey, you, young one! Get back to Mom & Dad at once! Shoo! This is more or less what I usually do in such cases!:)
I disapprove of any disorder in animal world, strongly. For instance whenever I meet [often as we walk at nights on regular basis] two young [sic!] angry cats standing in the middle of the street and trying to impress one another which might end up in a fight, I always speak to them [holding Boris who barks like hell!:)] until all the neighbours look out from their windows ! LOL
No wonder, we two have to sneak like thieves during daytime!:)
This image makes me nervous and upset and worried about the silly gosling, I cannot help it! LOL

Hubert might be a tad goosey, Wendell.

Wow the blue in this lake is amazing and you have lovely detail in the geese and I do like how you captured the ripples on the lake .Love these geese and they fly in large flocks but always seem to be in family troops on water of just a few .We have lots of these birds in the UK and they can be seen eating grass and what a mess they can make as well lol.

Clever narrative as usual Wendell and a nice capture of the family and the "black sheep".
