If you have any hatches now might be a good time to batten them down. If you find yourself hatch-less at this time it might be because you keep collecting the eggs before the chickens have a chance to come home to roost. Fleeing to high ground is also highly recommended or you can always try the old standby of staying inside where it is theoretically warm and dry until the power goes out and that big tree in the corner of the lot that you've been meaning to trim comes crashing through the roof. Now if you'll excuse me I have some hightailing to do.

Enjoy and you comments welcomed.

There's a squall a brewing! Even the birds are taking off for safety. I love the little island...very unusual! Great capture!!

You captured the stormy moment very well, I like the birds in the shot, and the lighting on the water. =^..^=tigs♥

That looks like an island that's washed ashore. Great looking stormy sky. Well done, Wendell.

I see the sea birds are leaving quickly in the distance and that show me very nice depth of field in this superb looking capture plus I love the texture in the island and beach plus great looking colour tones and nice dramatic looking sky. Also superb presentation ,light and shade in this photo too.

Very dramatic sky and the water looks like it is ready to roll; the birds in flight are taking your roosting advice to shelter from the storm Wendell. Very nice capture. Stay safe.

Careful, the tide looks like it's coming in. Gorgeous capture and see 3 big birds coming at you in the distance. Marvelous textures and composition
