No blooms to be found floating with the pads nor much in the range of wildlife out sunning themselves. But given the stagnant nature of the water I was surprised to find much of anything in it.
I like Tick's comment. Was the ship from Pacmandoo? This reminds me of the ornamental pond I had years ago. I always like seeing the frogs sitting on the lily pads in the summer, along with the blooms. Fantastic shot, Wendell.
I like this it is very artistic looking and the saying dark water run deep comes in to my memory as I look in to the black water .Inaslo like the light that is reflecting of the wet Lilly's snd water surface too.Plus I like the swirls in the inky blueish water too,
