Another day spent at the duck pond. Well not the whole day, just an hour or so, as I had other things to do that day. Productive things like lying about, snoozing and generally rolling over and having a good nap. Because it wasn't a good day to be lying about outside. Everything was damp and rather quite dismal. But it did make for some good shooting as the light fog helped to mask some of the background distractions.

It looks like the ducks have the same ideas about productivity as you, Wendell. That's a great looking tree getting a drink from the pond.

I really like the composition, with the placement of three in relation to the pond. Wendell you did good job on this one,glad you got the notion to get out for a little while for this good post.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
We are having duck weather here in Delaware right now. It's about as boring as Ohio! The duckies in this shot are probably loving every minute of it. Good looking shot, Wendell.

This is pretty much what our December has looked like so far Wendell - I would rather have snow than grey, drizzly, damp and dismal weather. Having said that(and yes I do feel better thanks)this is a good shot of it and I particularly like the branch draping down.

Nice capture Wendell and there's even a a song about a Dismal Day a blast from the past by The Bread before your time I would think wichs makes me very very old but still a cool song I think.
