The traffic light does stand in stark contrast to this old structure, but I admit it made me look at the full size image to see what that red dot was, so I guess it works, it made me stop and look, LOL!

I like the way you placed the road , it works so well.The light is just right to show the dark gate. The red light sticks out at first , maybe clone it out , a matter of taste.
