Cool shot and you don't have to hit me over the head with one to get me to appreciate it Dan. I did have to stand on my head to scan it.
My grandfather was a sawyer so the love of trees/wood has been ingrained in me.

I lost count of how many times I snap the ends of logs and lumber, but never posted any!...

There is always something different as you say!...good find, not many would thing to snap this!

Dan - This would't be Norwegian Wood by any chance? I see a house project about to be started. But, as a photographer has to do, a capture or two comes first. The b/w enhances the contrast so the growth rings pop. A creative capture! Thad
