And make no mistake about my earlier comments, Bruce ... I do enjoy your fresh approaches and creativity ... and "Moroccan Lava Flow" was an image that I thought I could add some value to the comments placed. Simply put.
Now then ... back to the latest creative incarnation of "Moroccan Lava Flow"...

The balance, compositionally speaking ... is definitely better to my eyes as presented to us now.
The 'softness' that was present in the first, now serves to really bring your viewer's attention to the central portion. Much like using the DOF of a photo to do so. And ... is very complimentary on a number of points.
And speaking of complimentary ... the colour gradients/palette ... works very well. (That facet has not changed from the first. As both worked well on this point.)
Nice ... work. :o)
And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.

Well, you caught my attention when I saw the title...:) and this is wicked good! WHat an elegant creation. The soft and even sensual look of this is just wonderful. The colour is so sleek...really appears as tho it is a bit of satin fabric.
