Have visited here many times and this was the second visit up this road. This was taken along side the Kolob Reservoir Road going north out of a small town called Virgin on the west side of the park and I am pointing the camera towards the southeast. The tall peaks in the background border the west side of the main entrance to the canyon. Hope you enjoy. BB

Fabulous sky in this Bruce - very rugged looking country.

Does this mean you are giving up fractalizing? LOL. Nice shot, Bruce.

Fabulous view Bruce. Three fascinating areas of interest - the foreground, mountains and sky.

The sky looks like it's been painted, wonderful soft layering of the clouds. Great post-photo work and lovely colours in the scene.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
