That is a very sweet render and creative piece, Bruce.
Very clean, lines look great. Nicely dressed up by the 'ornamental' center piece with a very complimentary flame setting the stage in the background.
Some creative food for thought for you, on the note of composition (hope you don't mind) ... "Moon Levels - Cropped".
(Edit: Ok, tried another ... this time keeping more in line with your concept ... "Moon Levels - Cropped 2".)
Just happen to be full of.. erhm, suggestions .. suggestions, yeah that's it ... this evening.
Why? The crop? You may ask?
No doubt in doing so, I've messed with your concept here. However, forging ahead and being bold ... brings to 'eye level' the most dynamic and visually interesting elements to that of the forefront.
As presented? Works with your title and concept in mind.
By cropping some off of the bottom, your image (in my humble opinion, of course) is no longer 'top heavy'. Simply put. Balance is better, might be a more appropriate way of stating things.
That said, and my nonsense aside..
Nice one.
I do like this one, and like it I do. :o)
And but of course, thank you for sharing your creativity with us. :o)
After reading Les' comment I almost forgot to comment myself!...lol Well I think its beautiful and perfect BB! Really cool to look at with great color!
It almost looks like the different phases of the moon. I like how the lines draw my eyes in for a closer look to the moon shapes. Creative work, Bruce.
It seems you are taking us on a fantastic tour of the solar system with this series of images Bruce. A great looking image. I like the fold-out look of this one. Nice textures created by the lines.
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Bruce... this image is indeed very nice, for all the reasons mentioned by the others! And Les' suggestion #2, I like it too!... it seems to me, to fit my 1920x1080 screen a wee bit better! Both of you are winners! :o)
