This shot was taken from Union St. just West of Montgomery St. in San Francisco and about a third mile Southeast of Coit Tower.This is from my cell phone camera so the quality isn't the best but still a great view of the Oakland/San Francisco Bay bridge.This is looking across the bay towards Oakland.Pier 15 is right down on the Embarcadero (Lincoln Highway) in the center....the white building. Enjoy my friends;)

That is quite a stunning view Bruce! I haven't seen a lot of California, but what I have seen is beautiful and this area is too. A great shot, some cell phone cameras are actually pretty good.

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
A good view of the harbour or bay or whatever you find fit to call this particular body of water Bruce. I just noticed you called it a bay in your narrative, I'll have to go back and change what I wrote. I should maybe start reading them before I jump into writing a comment. It wouldn't do to just leave my first impressions without knowing all the why-fors and where-whens behind the scene.

Wow for a phone this is one stunning capture the depth of field is one 100%.Love the blue in the sky and water,plus there lot's for the eye to see in this photo too.I do like the blue in the building and reds in the others it give this photo a very nice balance .Well done.
