This is the view of the Sawtooth ridge just Southwest of Bridgeport,Ca. where Sue and I went last month. There are many peaks here including Matterhorn Peak which is located in the Sierra Nevada, in the western U.S. state of California, at the northern boundary of Yosemite National Park. Matterhorn peak has as elevation:12,280' (3,743 m).(Wikipedia). I can't tell which one is the Matterhorn peak from my picture but the ridge is impressive non-the-less.This was from the same trip we took that I posted Carson Peak awhile back. Thanks for looking. More information Here. Oh, I just discovered that I could walk there from my home in about 65 hours:):):)

A beautiful view of the ridge & I can see why it got its name. Some of those peaks look razor sharp. Excellent capture, Bruce.

Great shot in both the faraway view of the mountains and the up close view of the fence.

I hope you are in good shape for that 65 hr walk Bruce. That is a beautiful view but think I would use my car if I were you. Good sharpness on the foreground with nice focus throughout.

Wow you captured a stunning landscape photo with this one the depth of field is superb and lovely natural colours and very sharp detail even in the mountains .I also like how you have the fence at the front and a road that brakes up this scene giving it a lovely balance to fields and mountain range .Well done to a great capture Bruce.

Now that is a great collection of fence posts; they should be in a museum. Or is this part of the museum collection?
Wow! A great view of the mountains and good composition of the scene.
