Great barn here, but I can't understand why they have such a strong looking fenced in area. Of course I'm not a farm gal so what do I know.....

I've read Carol's comment. Although I don't have an agricultural background, I assume that the fence is not intended to keep people out, but to prevent the animals that may be housed in the barn from escaping.
So not only a beautiful but also an intriguing picture, Buddy!

Splendid detail and a lovey composition. The fence looks like it is containing sheep yards - for dosing, drenching, sorting etc
