Bruce, submerged objects often show a distorted image. The deeper the object is, the less brilliant it becomes because of the light attenuation of the water. Water movements on the surface also distorts the image.
However, your sunken treasure doesn't suffer from these restrictions. It's showing off in all its glory.
It's a good thing you didn't provide us with a nautical chart showing where this treasure might be found. It prevents treasure divers from surfacing it, and depriving us of this visual splendor, Buddy, 😁 !
