Bruce, I assumed that a diamond was so hard that it cannot be deformed, only cut. Comparing this render to the gem from your previous post, I apparently got it wrong.
However, to my reassurance, the result has only become finer.

Interesting textures deep within the lines - gold thread or city lights from an airplane. While not my favorite, your color combinations here works very nicely: the sharp blue provides an interesting undertone.
