Just to the right of the first two tree pictures is this other set of roots and branches.The park has been through extensive changes throughout it's history which you can read about here: PARK. It's full of native oaks and toyon trees to exotic eucalyptus, cypress, pine, and Australian tea trees but I don't think that's what I am sharing is any of those unless you see different:):) Thanks for your comments.

Bruce, thanks for both another remarkable capture taken in the Buena Vista Park and your explaining narrative inclusive the link.
I've checked-out the link. Honesty obliges me to say that your pictures are far better and interesting than the ones shown at the 'Preserving the History of Buena Vista Park' site. I realize however that this site tries to show different aspects of the time line (1867 until late 1980's) while your amazing captures show its actual state.

This park has survived so much over the years, very interesting history Bruce. This is another wonderful well detailed with good textures image of the wonderful gnarly tree, love it! tigs=^..^=
