Near the The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park is the Land of Medicine Buddha. After hiking in the Nisene park, we visited there. Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. Here is one of many the prayer wheels from there!!:):) From their website is this description: "Land of Medicine Buddha is a sanctuary that offers traditional and contemporary programs based in Tibetan Buddhist practice for awakening and nurturing a culture of compassion, wisdom, and well-being. Although I'm not a Buddha believer, I respect fully their peaceful attitude and admire their wisdom.
