Taken at Mussel Rock Park in Daly City, Ca. looking north towards Mt.Tamalpais in Marin County:) This area is very popular for parasailing and hang-gliding:) Thanks for your comments.

Bruce, in the area where I live, there are similar conditions for parasailing and hang-gliding. This is because the warm, towards the coast directed, wind rises due to the presence of coastal sand dunes or coastal rock formations.
This, by me in 2015 taken photograph, and the by you taken beautiful shot show this phenomenon clearly.
I used to be an active wind surfer, and I would also like to practice this sport, but due to circumstances I hadn't the opportunity to do this. Now I'm too old.

I have never tried either parasailing or hang-gliding. So, I can only imagine the freedom one feels up there. Great detail in your picture, Bruce.
