This wonderful house is on Lombard Street, San Francisco, California. Lombard Street is an east-west street in San Francisco, California, that is famous for a steep, one-block section with eight hairpin turns. The street stretches from The Presidio east to The Embarcadero. Most of Lombard Street's western segment is a major thoroughfare designated as part of U.S. Route 101. Bruce, I think it's nice to live here. Not only because of the beautiful house, but also because of the colorful vegetation. Probably the hairpin bends make it impossible for traffic to pass at high speed so that the noise pollution is kept within limits.

Ohh yes! Lombard Street is also famous for a certain address, and was the residence of a well-known fictional character from a blockbuster classic back in its day - Still is!

...I went on an organized "Vertigo Tour" when I visited San Francisco in the early 90s...
