Sorry about the pixellation, especially in the upper left corner. My photoshop software disappeared, so I had to use Microsoft Picture Editor instead <gags>. I'll be posting some more from Death Valley after I hopefully recover my Photoshop. I might also re-edit this one, unless someone else wants to take it on for me. :) Hope you all enjoy!

Due to the current slow down of the site, my comments and thank you's will be few as it is very time-consuming...will catch up ASAP...meanwhile, a group thank you to all and keep up the great work everyone.

A great shot with those colour contrasts. That's what you call a desktop photo.

What a curious and intriguing picture! I think I like it just as it is. When your in an area that arid, everything probably seems pixelated! Bet that rock is thinkin, "Get outta the fast lane, buddy.."

It's an amazing capture. How was the lighting done? It seems kind of unreal that the ground is so bright, and yet the sky is so dark... I've never been in death valley, so, that might be the way it really looks.
By the way, don't you wonder why they don't just set a camera rolling to find out how the big rocks move? I don't understand why it is still a mystery??????

I love this! It's gorgeous. The sand and contrast of dark mountains and the walking rock. All of it. High mark in VB.

You are forgiven the pixelation. You would not notice it unless you looked carefully. We look forward to more photos. Excellent colors, composition and of course location.

Don't miss the beautiful colours of the rainbow while you're looking for the pot of gold at the end of it.

This is a bright, clear, well placed and Most Importantly humorous shot. I love it when people can work a little bit of irony and humor into their pictures. This is good.

Keep it up!

I believe I've heard of these before, but if I'm wrong I'll sound like a freak, so hear me out. These rocks in Death Valley seem to have traveled hundreds of feet, and no one knows why. Am I right? Regardless this is a great picture. Well done!

I don't normally post comments on older images, but this one is great. I guess there are some theories as to why this happens. I favor the theory that it happens when wind gusts are high, and the mud flats are damp. Good job on this one.

Can you paint with all the colors of the wind.
