This guy and his mate have been hangin around our house for the past couple of weeks. Finally got a halfway deceint shot of him. Things must be gettin hard in the wild, or they're just gettin "easy pickins". They'll perch on the pole and on our chimney, and swoop down on Geco's in the Grass. Really neat to watch. Completely Fearless!! The Sky is actually a sky I shot a couple days ago, the sky in the shot was really bad. Thanks for takin the time to look. :-) This is Wide Screen format.

I saw this in the new images and thought "what a wonderful sculpture" - looking at it full size I understood, that I was that wrong. It is even better. A real bird. Fantastic! A great image all together with a great sky also.

You did a really nice job of putting this guy against a different sky, but forgive me if I make a small observation: I think, and I could be wrong, it's been known to happen before, that the shadows on the bird and his perch and the shadows in the sky are not opposite, but perhaps if the bird were flipped horizontally then we'd have a more realistic light and shadow on him? If I'm running off the rails here, please forgive me. Such a dramatic picture. :)PJ

What a beauty Greg. I love his colors. And the clouds are wonderful as well.

It's a great shot of him and the sky is fantastic, once again. Of these bird/sky manips, I think this is your best.
