I reviewed your gallery and was very impressed with your landscapes. I know I'm supposed to be commenting on "Reach for it..", but I'm not sure I'm qualified to make a judgment. I am still a novice, have not taken any still life photos, and am not all that familiar with what is considered good in this category.
With that in mind, I'll give you my impressions. This looks like a photograph of one of those psychedelic optical filament lamps from the 60's. It's an interesting photo considering the subject. I recently threw out my glass filament lamp because the glass kept breaking, and there's very few things as irritating as getting glass thorns. On a 1 to 10 scale, I'd give it a 5. For all I know this photograph will someday adorn the cover of a number of magazine covers.
Nice shot. It has to be hard to get the camera to focus on something that small and partly transparent. The dark background defintely helps the light pop.
yearn, the liking that comes to heart..
words too few to define and forever not..
gone away..but not so fast,,
wait, patience has to say,but not so lot..
have i seen, or reached for it ..
in the turns of fate, alone to sit..
lightened, some lost thought,
yearned and reached for it...
