At first I thought this was the same type of insect, but I think yours in a cinch bug and my picture is a fish fly. Those are my arm hairs it's resting on by the way. :) Trout Creek Park Oct 2005.

It looks like what we call around here a "willow fly" or a "May fly" - they only live 24 hours. There are two kinds - the ones that hatch in the trees and fly to the water and then there are some that hatch in the water and fly away (usually making a mess of boats and boat houses as they get trapped in spiderwebs). When the hatch happens (usually mid June), the fishing is great. Best time to fly fish as you can cast and catch almost immediately and every cast you make. These little guys are super delicate, but very pretty. Thanks for sharing this great close up Alex.
