This was taken at Lettuce Lake park the same time as this one November 2013. It's a great shot, but the twig sticking up really bugs me! By the way, I confused Whacky Wednesday's with Manic Monday's, so the title should have said "A little manic" Oh well.

Definitely a better shot. I like the beautiful colors and details of the bird, and the hanging moss as a backdrop.

Alex, with a good editing program, the 'disturbing' twig can be cloned out. About the title I like to say that it less important. The content is more important.

This is a very clear capture, well focused. The free program photofiltre has a very good cloning tool, that could be used to rid the pic. of the twig, and just a suggestion a bit of added contrast would help to add more impact for this well captured shot, it would set off the bird even more. tigs=^..^=

Great capture of this heron Alex. The colors are beautiful and the natural setting is perfect. Perhaps a little airbrush on that twig if You have a program that has airbrush.
