This is a view of the lobby of the Grand Floridian Hotel to compliment the entry I made several weeks ago. The tragic alligator attack took place right outside the back windows looking out towards the beach.
Excellent vantage point Alex giving us the opportunity to 'explore' the scene, lol. Very interesting. The lady doing a nap (somewhat below the center of your image), made me smile. Proofs to me that there's a relaxing atmosphere.
Like SAW (Pat): the story of the boy killed by a gator still bothers me as well!

This offers a good perspective, if I remember right I heard it was about 9:00 in the evening when that tragic accident happened. I do think that Disney should have been more explicit in the their sign postings, but I do think that people should remember that when in the southern states, they are very common, and can travel waterways very easily. They can be seen everywhere down there. tigs=^..^=
Great Capture - Your shot is quite grand Alex - such a well designed and decorated space - while we admire the beauty within the hotel, the tragedy of the little boy still remains with me and never had to happen.
