I came home from work a few days ago and this was on our door. As you know from this post we had/have a few toothy guests stop by now and then. The gator in the previous entry has not been seen in months. It's not as scary as it sounds if common sense is used.

Yikes! If I saw this on my door I'd be moving...like, yesterday...of course, I'm not accustomed to seeing alligators in my neighborhood...a most unique post, Alex.

Common sense is what's missing when dealing with gators Alex - I love and respect them and stay clear!!!!!!!!!

If at night use a flash light besides normal lighting and if you see a mean looking eye in the light then go back inside. Honestly I wouldn't like to live so close to alligators.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.

-keep in mind that cats are not permitted to roam the property---

Alex, I read your interesting post carefully, although there are (happily) no gators in my environment. I hope that cats also have read the epistle (lol), because they not easily will obey the learned lessons.

Take care, my friend!

Common sense would be not to feed them for sure.

Now that's a notice to really take notice with those big fellows around.
