Throughout Lettuce Lake you'll see signposts such as this stating not to wonder off the path. Partly not to trampled flowers and wildlife but mainly because of some sorted people that used to use the woods for unsavory activities. I occasionally go off the beaten trail and I am careful not to impact the environment when I do so. Fortunately, the foolishness that used to occur there is no more but the signs still remain.

Alex, to me the sign is pretty useless as long there's an absence of adequate supervision to enforce the ban.

I was in Naples last week and was impressed with the number of nature preserves being maintained in the region. Walking through some of them, they are beautiful, and provide space for animals to exist without human predation. I like how you composed this photo.
