I stopped by Lettuce Lake yesterday and I knew the water levels were low, and actually I have seen it lower than this. Way back when (10 years ago) when we didn't have a desalination plant to supplement our drinking water, much of the inlet to the right was a bone dry field with grasshoppers. We have been in a drought for months now, but Tampa keeps on trying to compete with the Jones and more of our natural resources dwindle away. Most of our the city's drinking water comes from this river presented here. Also, the inlet to the right is "Lettuce Lake" albeit, it's an inlet not a lake and the river to the left is the Hillsborough River, the main waterway through the area. Here is a photo of the same area when the water levels are normal

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Alex, I can't see whether this splendid panorama is a stitched one or not. If so, it's perfectly done, because I can't see any disturbing overlaps. A stunning one, my friend.
Thanks, and thanks too for the link. Very interesting comparison!

A great pano Alex and the difference between the two speaks volumes about our dwindling resources.
