My daughter had no idea how friendly some of the Mexico City squirrels were. All of the squirrels in Mexico City have those rust-colored undercoats of fur on the back of their heads, rumps and tails (regardless of their main color - grey, brown or black.) The squirrels in Chapultepec park were exceptionally friendly.
