A very nice render..but just a touch monochromatic. I'm wondering if introducing another color touch here and there would perk this up a bit?

:)

I kinda like the color, showing off the many hues that accent the scene.
Thanks for sharing this "monochromatic" picture with us.

The colors of the clouds compliment this so well. It all flows together well.

This is very cool...it almost looks like some of the cliffs and small mountians we have in the Las Vegas NV area...good job!

Saw this one before ... and I was impressed, now ... time to pay proper respects to your creation. :o)

Nice work Michael.

If I may be so bold to state here ... a more seasoned piece in my humble opinion from you. As mentioned above the colourations work very well together in the overall composition.

Caveats? Given that great sky atmo ... and ... the title ... curious as to how raising the camera level would impact your image conceptually. Even a slighter hint at the landscape beyond the rock outcropping itself ... would convey the concept/title 'barren' a bit more in my mind. Just a thought.

I do like the perpendicular lines of the rock formation with that of the lines of the cloud formation. Works really well to my eyes.

A very well balanced piece in that respect and overall.

Nicely ... nicely done.

Thanks for sharing your work, I appreciate your efforts and talents.
