Your colour palette is ... well, gorgeous. Very eye-catching. Deep, rich and vibrant.

Interesting composition. And I say that in a good good way. Can't help but notice the placement of the clouds, and the placement of the other elements ... lead my eyes off and to the right.

Caveats?

Looking at the ridges and furrows, I did have the thought that the scale seems a tad off.

Stirring my creativity, I did have the thought to put forth the suggestion to mimic a terrain ... or something close to ... of what one would see in the Salt flats. Still in line with 'scorching', I would think.

That said ... nice work Michael. Some very nice depth to your piece here.
