No homicides yet at school, eh? Happy to see you at least doing a little weekend posting, Rachel. I miss your landscapes and shots of the ruins. If I want to see something like this, I can walk out my front door and look up. Edwards Air Force Base is where they first broke the sound barrier. My house is right on the flight pattern that they use at Edwards for training missions; so at least once a day I feel like ducking because the jets seem so close to the house. After 9-11 somebody must have assumed that a show of air power might deter a terrorist from blowing up a local fast food joint; so the jets came by threes at least every hour. Nice shot of these guys doing their maneuvers.

Are you going to show us the cockpit view of one of these maneuvers? A nice capture of these men in their fearless flying machines. Good colours in the scene.
