What a peaceful spot. There is something very sureal about this shot, or maybe it's a post-treatment.... hmmmmm something. Nice job though, I really like this one.

The focus, and effect on the greenery here is pleasing to the eye. It is a serene place.

I suspect that the stark white sky, and it's reflection though, add a bit of visual discord, and it makes the eye skip around, as opposed to settling in. Maybe a reshoot on a sunny, or partly cloudy day?

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

i agree with Rob that the effect on the greenery is quite appealing.. it was the first thing i noticed and it really pumps up the shot's beauty! A very inviting image my friend!

Very nice post work on this image. It almost has a sence of Orton about it. The washed out sky is something that is a bit distracting to me...but that's just me. Other than that...the scene is just beautiful.

Good colors, clarity and I like the effect you used Randy. I will come back and look at this when the snow is knee deep to a giraffe.

Excellent post.

Not going to get much fall color here with all the pines, but they sure have such wonderful shapes to them. I like the foreground plantings a lot and all the wonderful reflections of green in the pond.
