Bitis gabonica (Gaboon viper, butterfly adder, forest puff adder) is a venomous viper species found in the rainforests and savannas of Sub-Saharan Africa. This is not only the largest member of the genus Bitis, but also the world's heaviest viperid and it has the longest fangs and the highest venom yield of any venomous snake.

Handheld, indoors, no flash and through ~2 to 3 inches of plexiglas.

this is a puff adder? ... the fact that you posted a flower along with this, makes YOU a puff adder

The information and the shot tips the scales in favor of the snake Rocker. Great shot under the conditions. What caliber would I need to penetrate that glass. lol
