I was happy to meet the other one today in the VB and I hope I will be able to give this one another ten. Great, great shot. And yes, my mom was always happy when I brought her such a bug, since they ate those bastards who ate her flowers. Smile

Beautiful again, Jan, but I think I like "fly away home" a little better. Not that it's a better shot by any means - I just liked the way you captured the little lady creeping down into the flower in that one. This is just a wonderful -
i think i like the other one better, but this one is really nice too. the ladybird seems much bigger on this flower. I like the close frame, works well :)

Striking again! This one has a different feel, more subdued, and a kind of strong ambience, like she's meeting her destiny, if that makes any sense to you. I love the scattered pollen. :)
After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
