COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....
I love unusual shots and this is a really nice one you have caught here! It is something we perhaps see when on a train, but to actually capture it is something else. Lovely and Fav'd - thank you for sharing!

You come up with the most wonderful concepts! It makes me think of Dr. Zhivago too, the gazing, nostalgia...Your daughter is so lovely. Gorgeous composition Jan, and + faves.
That is cool, I think the white hood, is the key, it echoes the snow where a strong colour would have unbalanced the image. Your comp is right on the money to.
This is so artistic Jan, it's lovely. There's something of Bjork about it almost... it could be on a record sleeve. What a happy coincidence that Alice's fleece was white like the snow. Makes for a great copmosition.
I guess the trick is in recognizing what you have, even if you didn't end up with what you wanted. Everyone has told you how great this composition is, and I'm agreeing with them all, Jan!
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
