Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .

When I first looked at this excellent image, I thought it was some sort of alien eyeball. That's the neat thing about fractals, you can see most anything and not be wrong. I really like the colors in this.

I _think_ I like this - it is certainly unusual, intriguing and well done. It stands out in the gallery in a good way and I like the colouring. I'm not sure about the combination of wild chaos and rigid ornamental structure as far as appealing to me personally as a desktop goes, but that obviously isn't a criticism of the work.
