In this case, MacMillan Park on Vancover Island, where you'd find a small pocket of old growth forest, with some might fine trees. http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/macmillan/ It's not a place to be during high winds though.

Perfect title for this fairy-woods picture, but it is driving me nuts. I can hear the melody and the next line.."You'll be in for a big surprise"...but I can't place it! "Peter and the Wolf", perhaps?

John, it's really good and I am enjoying this image. Be careful with the blue/violet light refraction on the right. 'Dappled light' didn't have it...but both images are very good!! I love to see more of these posts.. Mich
