My favorite view from the Clent Hills, westward(ish) over the village of Hagley and towards Clee Hill. It's probably that chaps favorite view too. I think the figure adds a sense of narrative, and makes you wonder what someone would think about with that view stretching into the distance. [if you search Google Earth with this address "31 adam's hill, dy9 9ps", and follow the track past the pub (the Hill Tavern) to the Four Stones, you'll pass right by that chap on the bench.]

Very pretty, maybe more blue sky would be better for me. But the shot is great.

I love the figure in this beautiful scene. I didn't notice him immediately, but he adds a nice dimension to the whole scene and doesn't detract in any way from the massive view before us. I really like this. I live near Worcester county. I guess that's like a shire. :0)

I find the figure a little disconcerting (although useful), because all of a sudden, when you consider him within the frame of the picture, it makes you realise how big the view is and how small we are in comparison.

The "chap on the bench" gives scale to this very, very deep scene and those overarching clouds. I can see it rain in the distance and it makes me wonder where this fellow's umbrella is! Thanks for the Google directions, and if I do follow this line, I rather think he will still be sitting there! Wonderful landscape scene and the bright green in the middle distance is perfect.

Surprising to see a Canadian in Worcestershire - my family live near here and it's lovely to see the view. Wonderful contrast you got in the clouds and you're right that the guy on the bench adds perspective.

What a view! On cloudy day you can see forever... just imagine. I can see why it is a favorite spot. I envy your travels. I like the dark brooding skies with the man on the bench, adds mood and scale. A pleasure to view!
