I've never seen this bird before, so I had to look it up in a book to find out his name.
Since I was walking the dog this cloudy evening, I didn't expect to see anything 'new'. So I was again annoyed by a my lack of tripod. I got one shot off and then in the time it took messing around trying to remember where the spot focus meter control was, it had disappeared into the bush.
So this will have to do for now my friends.

There's a bit of noise on this upload but it doesn't distract the viewer from the pretty bird. For a rush shot it's come out very well John, & is definitely worth sharing. (o:
