Canons Ashby again and their wonderful landscapes. This was one of those gift views that just oozes English country garden, inviting you for a cucumber sandwich and a nice pot of tea on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I love formal gardens and this one is beautifully landscaped. The cucumber sandwich brought back a memory...I got a cucumber sandwich "to go" years ago in the UK, it was a very warm day and I didn't get around to eating it until a couple of hours later. It was cooked by then...not the way to do it!! But it's a memory.

Absolutely stunning post, what a beautifully kept garden and not one blade of grass out of place. Spectacular composition and lighting. Boy can you image how much work it takes to upkeep this garden

I'll pass on the tea, but you can put me down for an extra sandwich. It could be a cold winter and the extra sandwich will come in handy as bait. :)

A good perspective in the photo and a great view of the gardens. Lovely lighting and beautiful colours in the scene.
